SpinFire Publish Job Allocation Triggers



Use the Directory Watcher trigger to watch a local folder on the server.

Fields


Trigger name

Enter a name for the trigger.

Watched directory

Specify the server directory to watch.

Open archived files

If the new or changed file is an archive (zip, rar, tar, gz, 7z), extract contained files.

Include Files

Enter text to specify which files to watch; partial matches are found. Leave blank for all files. Separate items with a semi-colons.

Included CAD File Extensions

Select file extensions to include in the search.

Exclude files

Enter text to specify which files to exclude from the search. Separate items with a semi-colons.

Excluded CAD File Extensions

Select file extensions to exclude in the search.

Include hidden files

Include hidden files.

Watch sub-directories

Select to include subdirectories.

Include folders

Specify folders full or partial to include from watching. Leaving this field blank will not exclude any folders.

Exclude folders

Specify folders full or partial to exclude from watching. Leaving this field blank will not exclude any folders.

Unless wildcards are used, e.g. filter, only strict matching against the full relative path will be applied.
Assume the watched directory is \\root\watchedDir\:

if the filter is 
subDir
\\root\watchedDir\subDir\ and all its chilldren will be matched
\\root\watchedDir\subDir2\ will not be matched
\\root\\watchedDir\someOtherDir\subDir\ will not be matched

if the filter is
subDir*
\\root\watchedDir\subDir\ and all its chilldren will be matched
\\root\watchedDir\subDir2\ and all its chilldren will be matched
\\root\\watchedDir\someOtherDir\subDir\ will not be matched

if the filter is 
subDir
\\root\watchedDir\subDir\ and all its chilldren will be matched
\\root\watchedDir\subDir2\ and all its chilldren will be matched
\\root\\watchedDir\someOtherDir\subDir\ and all its chilldren will be matched

if the filter is

Add existing files

Select to include existing files.



Use the Polling Directory Watcher trigger to watch a network folder on the server. The timed polling delay helps Centro watch events across a network.

Trigger name

Enter a name for the trigger.

Watched directory

Specify the server directory to watch.

Polling Interval

Select the interval unit type between triggers.

Number of [units]

Enter the number of units to delay between triggers.



Use the Schedule Trigger when not watching a directory or folder and when operations need to be executed at specific intervals.

Enter a name for the trigger.

Allocate Job(s)

Select the interval which jobs are scheduled.

Select to run indefinitely or to stop after a specified amount of times.

The number of hours between jobs.

Select to run indefinitely or to stop after a specified amount of times.

The number of days between jobs.

at this time

The specific time each day to schedule jobs.



weekly

on these days

Select the days to schedule jobs.

at this time

The specific time on each selected days to schedule jobs.



monthly


day of month

Select from

  • on the first workday of the month

  • on the last workday of the month

  • on a specific week and day

at this time

The specific time of the month to schedule jobs.



Effective From

Select "now" or a specific date and time to start scheduling jobs.

Misfire Options

Select how a missed scheduled trigger event should be handled.



Use the Timed Trigger when not watching a directory or folder and when operations need to be executed at specific intervals.

Trigger name

Enter a name for the trigger.

Start time

Specify the trigger starting time, based on the server clock.

Start date

Specify the trigger starting date, based on the server calendar.

Interval

Select the interval unit type between triggers.

Number of [units]

Enter the number of units to delay between triggers.

Run once

Select to run through the set of actions only once.
