SpinFire Ultimate 11.11.0 Release Notes
Overview
SpinFire 11.11.0 provides users the ability to assign materials to each part of an assembly to more accurately calculate the weight of the assembly. It also give functionality to notify users of various scenarios, make sseveral improvements on performance, and updates the Catia v5 (3D) and Inventor importers.

Material selections for each part in an assembly.
Allow Multiselect Changing Materials.
Warn Users When Memory Is Low.
Add a Toggle For Memory Warning.

Bug Fixes
Import/Export
Import a file into a specific file will use all RAM available. (SFUS-6107)
Export part list dialog displays incorrect bounding box values. (SFUS-6141)
Performance
Opening a 3D file will generate 4 zoom fit despite having only one view
Improve performance loading an ACT3D file with only one view.
Generating missing edges is slow and is triggered for all formats.
Performance issue for files without styles.
Cache PMIs to improve loading time.
Slow loading specific JT file. (SFUS-5021)
Measurements
Saving an ACT3D again duplicates or removes one of the bounding box measurements. (SFUS-6005)
Miscellaneous
Handle corrupted xml files gracefully. (SFUS-5965)
ViewerLayout.xml might be accessed by several SpinFire instances.
Corrupted Centro.config will prevent SpinFire to start.
Printing
Camera settings no longer work in Print Preview. (SFUS-6079)
Print Preview settings are not remembered in some cases. (SFUS-6165)
Scripting
Sample Python Script doesn't work anymore.
Adding a newly created script to the list of script will only update the current document list.
Settings issues
Application Settings
Reset settings doesn't work properly with shared settings. (Application Settings)
Preventing the thumbnail creation will still trigger expensive functions.
3D Viewer Settings
Tooltip updated to describe which importers are not supported by the Front Facing PMI 3D Viewer setting.
Importer Settings
Parts are missing in specific JT file when Import PMI option is set.
DXF models are using inches instead of mm when no units are specified.
UI
Screen freezes for a certain period of time during the command "show only ". (SFUS-6129, SFUS-6159, SFUS-6197)
View Names Not Matching Nav Cube in Top Right Viewport.
Right Clicking Assembly Tree Items Only Works On Text.

Installation Notes
SpinFire Ultimate News Panel
The SpinFire Ultimate News panel requires Microsoft’s webview2 runtime software to display the latest in SpinFire news.
Download the executable from Microsoft to install.
Note: If your system is up to date on Windows 11, your system will already have this installed.
Print Preview
In many cases, Microsoft updates have prevented the rendering of the model in Print Preview.
Microsoft provides a workaound to correct this.
On the system in question,
Open a PowerShell in admininistration mode.
Run the following:
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\Windows Presentation Foundation\XPSAllowedTypes" /v "DisableDec2022Patch" /t REG_SZ /d "*" /reg:64
