Centro 8.0.1 Release Notes

Overview

Centro 8.0.1 updates importers, adds a Timeout Multiplier application property for the Catalog Request pipeline, tightens activity access, and addresses a number of minor bugs.

Centro 8.0.1 Changes

• Add a `Catalog Request Pipeline Timeout Multiplier` application property.

• Check for Resource-level permissions when retrieving Activities.

• Ensure Activity endpoints only return data for which the user has at least Read access.

• Allow logging to Azure ApplicationInsights.

• Tweak Import Pipeline dropdown.

• Add Powershell script to allow creating a new location.

• Show visual distinction between cloud and prem Locations in a mesh scenario when using Pipelines.

• Improve the visibility of the button names Explode View and Slice Plan on SFW page.

• Removed endpoints which have been deprecated for at least one major release of Centro.

Import Version Updates

8.0.1 Bug Fixes

• DELETE requests are accepted for the /Centro/api/catalog/acl/# endpoint despite privilege levels.

• The number of comments doesn't change automatically when clicking the Snapshot button.

• Authentication error shown on Admin page when Locations other than the current one cannot be validated.

Supported Environments

It's recommended to have n+1 core processors where n is the number of total concurrent jobs running.

• SDK: Visual Studio Projects using the Centro SDK must now target .NET Framework 4.6.2 minimum and turn on automatic binding redirects.
