Centro 7.7.2 Release Notes

Overview

Centro 7.7.2 fixes a couple of key issues and a handful of minor issues.

Changes

Fixes were issued for:

  • Removing a role assigned to a user throws an exception preventing further user update

  • API call "doc-tree" returns incorrect CAD data

  • LDAP out-of-sync button and dialog should ignore disabled users
  • Ensure all current users have a Favorites object
  • Add 3D search indexing to Activities record

  • Provide a filter on "Subject" for admin area Activity

  • The percentage in Custom property name and description don't show properly when the user creates project from pipelines

  • When you click something with the sub-component in the label, it should display the sub-component

  • All jobs that start from PartView page throws an exception

  • SpniFire Web toolbar is offset
  • SpniFire Web: Double click on empty space causes an error in console

  • Users tab loses focus when Disabled User Accounts tab is selected

  • Align the buttons on the projectView page

  • The value on how many project parts is in bold when showing all.

Installation Notes

If you have picked up the previously issued 7.7.0 and/or have had your instance manually patched by Actify support or engineering, it is unnecessary to install 7.7.2.

Important Notes

  • If upgrading from a version before Centro 7.7.0, there are new permissions that govern deleting resources, changing a catalog part's project, and allowing users to manually create a catalog part.
    • In previous versions, catalog users could perform these functions.
    • In Centro 7.7.2, these permissions are defaulted as disabled; in other words, users who used these related features will not be able to use them unless their permissions have been changed accordingly.
    • Please review your organization's permissions policy surround Centro and set these accordingly.

It's recommended to have n+1 core processors where n is the number of total concurrent jobs running.

The amount of available free space is dependent on the amount and size of files and revisions uploaded as resources to the Catalog.
