Centro 7.6.3 Release Notes

Overview

Centro 7.6.3 enhances performance and response in the following areas.

  • Catalog project page, 
  • Catalog part page,
  • Downloading of resources
  • Admin area project page
  • Catalog thumbnails
  • and the Pipeline Manager page.

Changes

Fixes were issued for:

  • Catalog

    • Added scrolling to pinned part list.

    • Fixed display of part thumbnail.
    • Restricted homepage part filter to name and catalog ID.
  • Part View

    • Resource tags now sort alphabetically

    • Escaped name of assembly tree in partview.

    • Added max-width to partview project input.
    • Fixed thumbnail display in assembly tree.

    • Sorted assembly tree alphabetically.
  • Performance

    • Fetch Catalog Part and associated data in a single query for PartView.

    • Improved performance when canceling jobs in batch
    • Pipeline Manager page-load improvements
    • Implement resume-able downloads for assembly download action (FireFox and Edge browsers only).
    • Deselect project on changing shown locations or archived
  • Pipelines

    • Changed priority of generate jobs.

    • Persist PipelineManager filters in LocalStorage
    • Scheduled start action now always respects the requested time of the day.
  • Projects

    • Prevent use of archived project for part update.

    • Reduced amount of projects requests when returning to page
    • Added alert for existing Project names.

    • Projects page redesign

    • Implemented pagination for projects in admin area.
    • Project pagination now more reliably remembers page
    • Removed request limit for accessible projects.
    • Excluded disabled users from search sharing.
  • SpinFire Web

    • View a part(s) in SpinFire Web from a different location

  • UI

    • Project Part count: "1 parts" is now singular

    • Date range pickers now open independently
    • Added scrolling and filtering to category control.
    • Set default DataDoc order to Asc.
    • Move reload button into Filters toolbar.

Installation Notes

If you have picked up the previously issued 7.6.0, 7.6.1, or  7.6.2 and/or have had your instance manually patched by Actify support or engineering, it is unnecessary to install 7.6.3.
